Avery and Bailey's Thanksgiving Date

Avery had a blast playing with his new friend Bailey and the pictures his cousin Kaylee took of them are adorable!!

Avery: "You want to get together for
Thanksgiving, Bailey?"

Bailey: "Yes, but let me tell my other boyfriend I have other plans"

Avery: "WHAT do you mean other boyfriend? Two can play that game!! Hold on, my sister wants to talk to you.."

Bailey: "Yes Jenna, I know your brother is something special and I am NOT going to let a good thing like him go!! I just need some time to explain things to him, could you set that up for me?"

"We need to talk Bailey, dont give me that pretty smile either!"

"sheesh, women"

"sheesh MEN!!, Avery you are giving me a major migrain!"

"Kaylee! We are TRYING to have an argument in here, we don't need any pictures right now!! Could you give us some privacy??"

Thanksgiving Date turns out fine! Cute couple!!

We had a very fun Thanksgiving this year! We were invited to my sister Tandi's inlaws house, they live about 2 hours from us so we drove there to see them. Her Mother in Law and FIL are really really great people!! Their names are Bob and Dorothy and they are truly the Lord's servents!! Dorothy is the best cook ever and they are both so welcoming to us and really make us feel like part of their family when we are there! My kids had a great time with their cousins, playing football and stuff, Avery had a wonderful time playing with his new girl friend "Bailey", which will have to be my next post because they were TOO cute!! and of course Tandi and I had a fun time as usual. I love spending time with my sisters, we just dont get enough time to be together, but one day we will... I am thankful this year for my family, for Jenna being home with us, and for all the blessings God has given me! Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! I am sorry I couldnt be with you on your birthday, but I was thinking of you and I am looking forward to seeing you SOON!

Day at the Park

Last week the weather here was so nice for November, so we took a trip to the park!! Ronnie was at a youth group weekend thing and Rod of course was working on the room, so Aaron, Avery and I headed to the park during Jenna's nap. We took a picnic, played football and played on the swings. We had a great time! It's not often I get to spend time with just one or two at a time. It is also not often that they hug like they actually like each other!!! haha don't they look so sweet?? I had to capture that rare moment!!

Our Room Addition!

Some of you know we are adding on a big BIG project to our house. I am adding some pictures to show the progress, there is lots of work to be done, but it is coming along nicely and we are very excited to see it getting done. Please know that I am married to a very hard working handyman who also happens to be a computer genius! He has worked every weekend, a lot of times with help, but a lot of times by himself. He is out there for hours and hours just hammering away. Thank you Rod, for always providing for us in every way, you are a great dad and a super husband, I cannot wait till this thing is finished so we can have more room but more so we can have YOU back! Also, thanks to our friends who have spent so much time here helping Rod, Chad who is always loyal and always, always ready to be here, Chris B, who gets the job done, Haskell who always knows how to do things the right way, Greg for bringing the "right" tools, Robbie for doing a months worth of work in like 2 hours!, Chris K, who we know has to sacrifice time with 4 little kids and also works hard in the ARMY!!, and some others I want to mention is Heath, Paul, Scott,Ryan, David L, David R., and Dennis, Doug, Jonathon, Ron, and Mike who have all helped in various ways.. I hope I didnt forget anyone, and I want to thank the wives for sacrificing time for us too! We mostly thank our Father in Heaven for giving us such great friends and so many blessings! We will keep you posted on the progress.

Happy 100 birthday Oklahoma!!

Aaron and Avery had a big celebration on Friday at their school! They had so much fun and they both got picked to be in the wagon parade for their classes. They dressed in old timey cowboy dress and they looked so cute!! Aaron helped make a cake with his class in the shape of Oklahoma.

Aubrey's One Year Birthday!!

Happy birthday to our little friend Aubrey! She turns one year old this week! Wow time has flown!! Seems like YESTERDAY I was visiting her at the hospital!!

Avery's first Sleep Over Guest!

Avery had a good little friend spend the night last week. He had so much fun with GIBSON!! He says Gibson is his best buddy!! They had fun sword fighting, playing games and watching CARS!! They were so cute in their warm jammies, but Avery must have worn poor Gibson out because at 8:30 pm he said, I am going to rest, and he was out for the rest of the night!! Of course Avery was up for another TWO hours!! Thanks Gibson, you can come over anytime!!!

Ronnie's school Awards Day

Hello everyone, Several times a year Ronnie's school has an awards assembly, well it really is more like a pep rally! It is really fun,( and loud) the school breaks down into teams and see who has the most school spirit. Ronnie's team was the Tigers and they won!! Ronnie also was recognized for STRAIGHT A's, Student of the month for October and for making it into the Central Oklahoma Honors Orchestra (for his Cello)! We are very proud of you Ronnie and thank the LORD you are such a good boy!!

One Little Indian

This is my little Indian! This is Jenna the princess of our family, for anyone who doesnt know, we adopted Jenna from Guatemala a year ago. She has been home for almost 11 months and we cannot remember life without her! For Halloween I dressed her up as an Indian, it was the perfect costume for her, I kept saying it looked like we plucked her right out of a tribe! She has adjusted fantastically and her brothers adore her!! She won a costume contest for this outfit and won a great big pumkin which she LOVES!! She is saying all kinds of words, the latest "TEXAS" , passy, Bubba, Avery, AAron, Horsey, Nite nite, chicken, cookie, fries!! I love my little Lady!!

Avery my little Tinja Nurtle!!

Avery was so cute on Halloween!! He was a Ninja Turtle, but calls it a Tinja Nurtle. When it is your third child, you don't correct them anymore, you get sad when they say it right, because it is SO cute when they say it wrong! He had so much fun trick or treating, he is already planning on what to be next year. Avery is learning how to write his name and all sorts of good stuff in school, he was Student of the Month in September in his Prek class and we are so proud of him! I love you my TNMT!! Here he is at the pumkin patch dressed as a cowboy, you can see his Tinja costume at the bottom of the blog!

TEXAS GAME!!!

Ronnie and I had such a treat! We got to go to the TEXAS Osu game on Saturday in Stillwater. We are from Texas in case you didn't know, and we are still Texans at heart!(especially here in the cultish,haha, OU country)(please OU fans I am only KIDDING please dont slash my tires!!!:0 ) I found some good tickets on EBAY and bought them on Friday night. No one can say I am not a spontaneous Mom! We had such a good time and even though it was stressful because Texas did very bad in the first 3 quarters, they pulled it out in the end and won by 3 points in the last THREE seconds! WAY TO GO TEXAS!! I am not at all competitive! :)) haha

Sometimes you just have to go for it and live in the moment!! This was a dream come true for Ronnie, since he LOVES loves loves football!! We met some cool Texas fans too! Thanks Ronnie for a fantastic date, it is like going with another adult you are so sweet and mature! I LOVE MY TEXAS BOY!!

DATE WITH MY AARON

Me again, I have some catching up to do, because I really want to write about my 2 dates with my 2 gentlemen this past weekend. One was on Saturday with my oldest gentleman, that will be my next post. This one was on Sunday with my middle gentleman, Aaron. Aaron took me to Chuck E Cheese for our date. Can you tell that he chose where he took me? We had a great time, Aaron is so sweet and such a good boy. We ate pizza, played lots of games and spent lots of quality time together. We don't get a lot of that with the little ones always around so I treasured this time with him and I hope he always remembers it! I LOVE YOU AARON!! YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL!

NEW BLOG!!!

Just starting blog! Ok, after much prodding, from self and others, I am finally starting one of these things! Mostly for my kids, but also for some friends to see pictures. So as far as introductions, my name is Jana and I am a southern girl with FOUR kids!! I have 3 beautiful little gentlemen and 1 precious little lady, hence my blog name. My husband is Rod and we have been happily married for 18 years!! We are proud to be Christians and try to show Christ's love to others and especially our kids. We are thankful to be so happy and blessed and give God the glory for everything good in our lives!
