Houston after Christmas...
After we went to see my family, we went to Houston to see Rod's family and our friends from there. We had a great time as always! I miss my friends there so much. Of course I spent a lot of time with Minnie and Gabby, and we had a good time at Rod's brother Reubens house where we celebrated Christmas with Rod's mom and his brothers and their families. Then, we went to Rod's uncle's house, and I had a girls night out with three of the most fun girls that I have ever known!!Here are some pictures from our trip.

Tori went with us to Houston again, and as usual she was a huge help and the boys had so much fun with her. Here she is chasing Jenna around their house in her car! She was EVERYWHERE in that house!!

Rod loves his Uncle, and his Uncle treats Rod like his son. He is the closest thing Rod has left to his Dad.

Here is our girls dinner...I miss these times and look forward to having fun each year when we do this! Our tummys are hurting from laughing all night, specially at crazy Berta!!

Here are the kids running around the courtyard after we ate dinner at my favorite place "Don Picos" yummy. Gabby looks like she is ahead here, but actually she had a hard time trying to keep up with Jenna who was literally running CIRCLES around her!! You will see below that Gab's big sister Lilly had to "help" her keep running. We laughed so hard at them

Here is Jenna running and telling Gabby, "you cant catch me girl, I dont care how much help you get from your sister" Look how her pigtails are flying, that is how fast she was running, this is after passing poor Gabby up like five times in a row!! Lilly is saying "UGGGGH, girl what did you EAT"????
Look at Jenna, she is not even pretending to watch Dora with Gabby, but look at how serious Gabby is and how they are holding hands! Precious, and isnt Gabby so pretty? I have always loved her lips!
These girls are so cute together! I wish we could spend more time here!!
Gabby, my mom says happy hour is from 2-4, Its 3:55, if you hurry we can make it to sonic for half price drinks!! STEP ON IT SISTER!!!
Gabby: "Jenna, forget half price drinks...yes, I will take combos numbers 1,2, and 3, and my friend here will have a medium cherry dr pepper with extra ice!!" "Jenna hand me my Dora back pack and I will pay for it!"

Performing with Barrage!!!
This past week, Ronnie had a great opportunity; since he made it into the Central Oklahoma Honors Orchestra, he got to play with a phenomenal group of violin players called Barrage! This group travels around and it is 6 violin players who dance, sing and play with great style and energy. They played a super concert and then halfway thru the program, the Honors Orchestra joined them for a song. Ronnie did a fantastic job and we are so proud of him with his cello. He is also teaching himself to play the guitar (thanks Uncle Kenny!) :)) and he is spending lots of time with that. He loves to play music. Way to go Ronnie!!
turn off my music to hear ronnie playing with the orchestra!! for some reason, just the audio part worked. I will try and get Rod to work on fixing that...

Catching up!
Ok Ok, I know I have a lot of catching up to do, but we were gone to Texas for 13 DAYS, yes 13 days on the road with a family of SIX, we are very adventurous .. But we are glad to be home and all bags are unpacked and Christmas decorations put away, and the laundry is done, till the kids take a bath later anyway lol! So we had a great Christmas, Ronnie turned 13 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET TEENAGER)!! I have a teenager??? Say what?? Ok that one will really make you feel old. We went to Corsicana for 5 days, to Houston for 4 and then back to Corsicana for 4 more. My brother and his family were in Corsicana from Florida and Avery had the best time with his cousins, Brady and Cameron!! They are best buds. Too bad they dont live closer, they had so much fun. We had our annual Sister gift swap dinner, I think this is like the 8th or 9th year that we have done that, and it is always so much fun to be with them! Except I had a major migraine and then my sister who is a nurse gave me some strong medicine, and then I was flying the rest of the night. I have 3 sisters and one brother, all of them are so special to me. My parents have 19 grandkids (Jenna is number 19!) and 2 great grand daughters. We are a very busy family heehee!! So Christmas is packed and crowded, loud and a blast!! Here are pictures from our Corsicana part of the trip.
We usually stay at my moms house in "C" but since my brother was staying at their house and my dad is like a gazillion night member of Holiday Inn, we got to stay there, with an indoor pool! It was nice to have our own space. Thanks Mom and Dad! My parents are very generous people and we are very spoiled with gifts at Christmas time! My mom goes all out with presents and My dad AKA "Santa" gives all of the sisters, and my mom a BIG check just from him, this year it was 1 Thousand dollars EACH!! WOW Thanks Dad!!
